Charles Lindbergh,Scott Joplin, Charlie Chaplin, Al Capone and Bertha Gifford worked here (documented serial killer with 17 victims) This place has been ranked 5th Most Terrifying places in America by the Travel Channel. Our team was interviewed by Sharp Entertainment who produces that show and our evidence was compelling they took 6 gigabytes of information to be used.

To Whom This May Concern:
This is an account of what took place on 4/30/2010 at the Morse Mill hotel.
A couple of weeks before our hunt I went to meet with Patrick (owner) to give him a deposit on the hotel for the night. It was the middle of the day with a cloudless sky above. Upon driving up to the building I saw the backside of who I thought was Pat but it seemed he was in the shadow of this large tree by the basement door because his figure was very dark and seemed blotted out from the shade. He moved from outside to in and I assumed it was Patrick and called his name and followed in. Upon entering the basement I saw the same tall man round a corner into another section of the basement, I followed thinking still that it was Patrick. As I rounded the corner I found myself in a walled in room with only one exit that I just came in by. The room was empty. I shrugged it off as nerves or something in my eye. I dismissed in my mind what I had seen until later when I did find Pat on the second level Vacuuming. After talking he told me of the spirits that stay at the hotel and the slave in the basement, a tall lanky male figure fit what I had seen perfectly.
I sat and talked with the owner (Patrick) who gave me tips on how to get the most activity on our hunt, while I waited for the others to arrive. When my team arrived we went room by room closing any door that had air leaks from the outside letting gusts of wind inside of it. This would prevent slamming of doors that could not be explained. We also checked every room for vagrants or animals to ensure noises we might hear were genuine. His advice plus a major thunderstorm and tornado that came dangerously close to destroying the building that night came in very handy. The energy from the storm caused the house to explode with activity.
1. 10 minutes after Patrick left I began my investigation alone in the house. I entered the building and introduced myself. I felt great pressure against my chest as if it was being pushed against. I sat on a sofa that was next to the fireplace and began asking questions. The seat next to me sank with no human body sitting there. My body leaned toward the compression. I was a little freaked out by this but I asked if anyone was there and asked if they could say my name. I heard nothing at the time, checked my voice recorder later and heard “Hi Ron” in a strange metallic voice. Documented and on you tube.
2. I was in the slave quarters being very blunt if you will, that I did not believe anyone was there and that if he was he was a little bitch and needed to show himself. Nothing happened, so I proceeded up the stairs as I was walking I felt as if something was coming up at me. Voice recorder in one hand and a camera in the other I snapped a photo behind me. Did not see or hear anything until listening to my voice recorder. As I am walking around the basement you can hear heavy breathing and as my camera clicked behind me you hear a clear distinct GROWL. 3. Lou one of my teammates was setting up the night cameras on the second floor when his shirt was tugged at the bottom with a strong force. I actually saw the shirt move but didn’t think anything of it. Just thought he caught it on something. Personal experience
4. We set up two flashlights on the dining room staircase to test for intelligent or residual haunts. On voice command, the flashlights would light up and shut off. We have 7 hours of night vision video showing no one was around the stairs and that they would turn on and off on there own. We even had them (spirits) answering question by asking them to flash the light on, once for no..and twice for yes. We wanted it hard to accomplish so we could eliminate the chance of people thinking we made this up. We found out it is a little girl who was turning on and off the flashlights. Documented
5. While we were on the second floor asking for the flashlights to go on and off (which they were) Lou was sitting cross legged on the floor a cold spot appeared in his lap area as if a child was sitting there. It was 85 degrees up stairs that night in his lap area it was bitter cold. Some what documented. It is on camcorder with us discussing it while it is happening but no way of showing it.
6.A Ouija board was used on the main and basement levels. The board told of nine spirits on the main level. Legend has it 17 were killed in the building. That is not correct 9 were poisoned in the home (Goggle) and 8 in the surrounding community. The Ouija board activities are all documented.
7. Lou and I were standing by the dining room staircase asking for the flashlights to come on. The lightening was fierce outside by this time and the bright flashes lit up the house. During one particularly bright flash we both saw the figure of a small girl in a 1800’s type dress with a white collar and beautiful blond curly hair knelt down by the flashlights looking between the spindles. It only lasted a second but is etched in both of our memories. Personal
8. I was outside using the restroom when Lou asked Dave where I was at. Dave replies downstairs using the bathroom and a third metallic voice responds “oh yeah” Neither of them heard it. It was captured on video and voice recorder.
9. All three of us were in the basement Dave and I were talking, one of us asks the other wonder where all these ghosts are. A deep sinister voice answered us “upstairs” only heard on voice recorder. Loud enough we should have been able to hear it. Documented
10. Through out the evening we (all 3) could hear faint sounds of children playing and giggling on the second floor. Once we would go up the stairs the sounds would stop. None of these sounds were caught on evp. Personal
11. In the basement we were provoking the spirit again and made a deal if he could rattle something we would leave him be and go back upstairs. No sooner did that come out of my mouth the chains I hung up rattled above our fixed voice recorder. Documented
12. The flashlights on the stairs during a voice command experiment did not come on right away. Instead they vibrated back and forth as if something or someone was trying to figure out how to work them. After we watched this in amazement for roughly three minutes Dave went over and explained very detailed to the empty staircase how to work the twist flashlights. Within seconds they were lighting up again. Documented
We captured many evp’s on recorder. The ones talked about were the clearest of them to discuss. We as a team did every thing we could think of to debunk the happenings we experienced. Things discussed in this letter cannot be debunked. I entered the home a skeptic and left a believer. This building is special and I believe it to be haunted.

Two weeks after our hunt we (my family and I) began to notice changes happening in our home. Doors closing on their own, cabinet’s doors closed when we went to bed and open when we all got up, a child’s cry (softly), and light bulbs unscrewing themselves. It was the light bulbs that caught my attention that something may be wrong. The unscrewing is the same principal as the flashlights we used to communicate with the dead. So, I set up shop in my basement to see if something followed me home. In my head I thought it was all for nothing because nothing could really follow you home. I set up multiple flashlights and asked if anyone would care to communicate with me. You can imagine my surprise when it lit up within 2 seconds of me asking to talk.
Questions asked:
Did you follow me here? A. yes
Where you one of Bertha victims? A yes
Is Bertha at the INN? A. no
I researched the victim’s list and found the 17 names. Went through the names one by one getting no as a reply for each until I asked this one.
Is your name Beulah Pounds? A. Yes
Are you happy here? A. no
Is your family at the INN? A. Yes
Is Sherman your father? A. yes
Would you like to go home? A. yes
I made a promise to her to take her home. That Friday Patrick let me use his property to return the little spirit to her family. I went to my basement and asked her to attach herself to me and drove straight to the Inn. I went in and asked her to release herself and go home. I asked on all levels of the Inn if she had returned using my flashlight as a means to communicate. No answer for hours. It wasn’t until Lou and I were in the basement chatting with the protector in the room next to the fireplace when we finally got our answer. I asked if Beulah had made it home. The answer was YES. We went on to interview the protector and found out he was not mean as long as if he was not provoked. We found out he is a 50ish black male that was never married. We asked if Bertha resides there and received a very clear no. Both on flashlight and voice recorder. We thanked him and moved on. On the third level we were asking question and received more confirmation that Beulah was back home. At that point I was so pleased she made it I didn’t care if I caught anything else that night. Well, I did. We asked if Beulah could give us a personal sign that she was home. Within a minute a light that was tied to the ceiling came untied and fell to the floor. Lou stated as it hit the floor “That was awesome”.
These are the facts of the last visit to the INN. They are all true and can be verified by video or evp recordings.
