spirits can follow you home

Hello Everybody,
For all of you out there who are ready to ghost hunt or experiment with the paranormal you need to listen to my warning. Go slow and educate yourself before you start calling the spirits of the dead to talk with you. If not done correctly they can and will follow you home.

My original team was made up of 3 members and all qualified as lead investigators. Lou, Dave and Ron(me) went to the Morse Mill Hotel on a stormy night that produced a tornado that came within 500 feet of hitting the building while we were inside investigating. So much paranormal activity was going on inside that we never knew there was danger outside. Each of us played a role during the investigation going easy in some areas and using strong confrontation methods in others. The more we got angry the more the building reacted. Go to the story about Morse Mill and read all that happened to us.

Lou really confronted the slave that resides in the basement. I am pretty sure the N word was even thrown around at some point. No!! None of us are racist we just wanted reaction by the spirits. After the investigation Lou told us of sounds in his home and the feeling he was being watched. One night a cookie pan flew off the counter while he was baking with his boys. He started acting out of the ordinary and his marriage suffered from it as well.  They are working things out. Lou remains on the team but doesn’t make a lot of the hunts.

Dave got belligerent over Bertha Gifford’s grave before we began our hunt otherwise he was gentle that evening. Dave quit our team shortly after the hunt without giving us a solid reason. He wasn’t scared but unwilling to talk about it.

Ron (me) taunted a lady I was told was a serial killer and I challenged the slave that resides in the basement with physical harm and bad words. A prostitute that was killed there in the 1800’s I flirted with her and spoke gently with the children killed in the building. Later I found out Bertha Gifford was never convicted of murder but declared insane. Locals have a legend that she poisoned 17 people 9 of which were children.

Roughly a week after the hunt my home started having activity. Light bulbs were unscrewing themselves. Our dog would growl at nothing between 1AM and 3AM everyday. One night I was sleeping on my side in the fetal position facing away from my wife when I heard my name being whispered by my ear. When I opened my eyes there she stood, her face was a mere 2 inches from mine. I can see her today as if it just happened. Two empty black spots were where her eyes should have been her skin was gray in tone and age wrinkles covered her face. I leaped backwards in shear fear landing on the hip of my wife. The lady stood up slowly with a grin of detest on her face. Small children were around and behind her just watching. All were dressed in what appeared early 1900’s apparel and the clothes were drab, with very little color. When she stood it was as if I was being studied for a second before leaving. I was horrified. Later I began to act out of character and my marriage suffered from it as well. We are working through everything and are stronger than ever.

Lou and I went back to the hotel and apologized to the slave in the basement and the prostitute who was killed by a customer. We both refused to apologize to the lady we believe did poison and kill those children and from I saw personally she has with her even today.
So before you pull out the ouija board or summon the spirits to chat on you voice recorder note that they can and will follow you home. Dave never returned.
